What is boudoir photography?

Boudoir photography is an intimate, empowering style of photography that celebrates confidence, beauty, and self-expression. It’s for all genders, body types, and personal styles—whether you’re looking for something bold and sultry or soft and romantic.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel confident! Some ideas include:

Lingerie (bodysuits, corsets, bra & panty sets)
Oversized sweaters or button-down shirts
Leather jackets, blazers, or fitted suits
Bodysuits, high-waisted underwear, or sheer robes
Even tasteful nude or implied nude poses.

We’ll also discuss options prior to the shoot and I’ll provide suggestions—but ultimately you decide what feels right for you!

What should I do to prepare for my shoot?

Moisturize your skin and drink plenty of water
Avoid sunburns, excessive alcohol, or last-minute waxing
Bring loose-fitting clothing to avoid lines on your skin before the shoot
Get plenty of sleep the night before!

Is boudoir just for women?

No! Boudoir is for everyone—women, men, non-binary individuals and couples. We create sessions that match your personality and comfort level.

Will you help me pose?

Absolutely! I will guide you through every pose and movement, down to facial expressions, hand placement, and breathing techniques to make sure you look and feel your best.

Can I bring a friend or partner for support?

Yes, but with some guidelines. A friend or partner can be present for moral support as long as it doesn‘t disrupt the experience. If you‘re booking a couples‘ session, your partner will be fully involved!

Can I bring props?

Of course! Some clients bring personal items like:

High heels or thigh-high boots
Favorite jewelry or accessories
Instruments (for musicians)
Sports jerseys or uniforms
Books, glasses, or other personal touches

Where will my boudoir session take place?

I offer on-location boudoir photography sessions tailored to each client’s unique vision. I travel to carefully selected venues and secure accommodations—within 120 miles of Jefferson City, Mo—to provide a private, comfortable, and inspiring setting for each shoot.

Do you travel for boudoir sessions?

Yes! I’m happy to travel to different cities or locations for your boudoir session, within 120 miles of Jefferson City, Missouri.

How do I book a session?

You can book through the website, or email me directly at tara@fearlessframeboudoirphotography.com to schedule a session. A non-refundable retainer fee of $100 is required to hold your date, and the remaining balance is due the day before your scheduled session.

Who will see my photos?

Your privacy is our top priority. Your photos will only be seen by you and the photographer unless you give written permission to share images in portfolios or social media.

Will my photos be retouched?

Yes! All images are professionally edited for lighting, skin smoothing, and color enhancement. We keep retouching natural—no excessive airbrushing.

How long until I get my photos?

The turnaround time can take up to 2 weeks for fully edited images. If you need them sooner, expedited editing is available for an additional fee.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

The $100 booking fee is non-refundable, since it secures your date, but you can reschedule once without penalty if given at least 7 days’ notice.

Can I gift a boudoir session to someone?

Yes! We offer gift certificates that make perfect surprises for partners, weddings, anniversaries, or self-love journeys.
